- Always cut meat against the grain, and not with it.
- To tenderize, try poking a bunch of tiny holes in the meat. "Pounding" can bruise the meat and make it worse.
- Allow the meat to reach room temperature before cooking, it makes the taste way better.
- When grilling a steak, make sure to sear both sides to lock in the juices.
